Pizza Dough for @alychee

Posting per @alychee's request.

For the flour, I've used all white, or all wheat, or most often a mixture of both. It changes the texture a bit but whatevahs.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Whisk together water, honey and salt in a warm Kitchen Aid mixer bowl.
  • Add yeast, whisk some more.
  • Add a cup of the flour, whisk some more.
  • Add the olive oil, whisk more more more.
  • Stick the bowl on your Kitchen Aid mixer, and mix on 2 using the dough hook. Add remaining flour while the dough mixes.
  • Mix the dough till you get a nice ball clinging to the dough hook. The ball of dough should wipe the sides of the bowl clean.
  • Add small-kine water and/or flour if necessary till you get that nice ball of dough.
  • Take the dough ball off the dough hook and put in a bowl greased with olive oil - let dough rise for about 45 minutes.
  • Punch the dough down. You can let it rise again or you can squish it out into the shape of your pizza.

Now you can put a bunch of crazy yummy stuff on it and stick it in the oven to bake. :)
