Galloping Hill Inn

On Friday night Kenji was working late, and I didn't a chance to go grocery shopping during the day, so I went with shoe-changer Joe to eat at a slice of New Jersey history - the Galloping Hill Inn. It apparently started out in the 1920's as some guy selling hot dogs on the side of the road at 5 corners in Union, NJ. Then over the years, they built a hot dog stand that expanded to what you see here. Plus what you don't see here, which is a fancy reception hall located across the parking lot.

I had a hot dog with mustard and relish, onion rings and a birch beer. I didn't take a picture of my food, though.
